What is MATS Pod?

MATS Pod is an interactive active game system created for kids, families and everyday movement. It combines light, sound, motion sensing and a built-in LED display to turn simple activities into exciting games and challenges.

With MATS Pod, you can upload new games and activities directly into the Pods, so children can play offline without worrying about a phone. The device stays under the child’s control in a simple and safe way, while parents can add new activities whenever they want.

We know how important it is to give children space to act on their own, develop passions and build skills through play. Our goal is to connect well-known physical activities with 21st-century technology — while keeping safety, independence and healthy movement at the center.

Who We Are

We are a small startup based in Wrocław, Poland. We are experienced and passionate about technology, sport and active play. MATS Pod was created from a simple idea: to build a device that motivates children to move more, discover sport activities and enjoy healthy challenges — without turning play into a boring training routine.

We wanted to put a smart but simple device into children’s hands. Something they can use on their own, something that awakens creativity, and something that introduces educational elements for both physical and mental development.

At the same time, we wanted to help parents with a problem every family knows well: “I’m bored.” MATS Pod gives kids meaningful screen-free time, supports healthy movement and creates activities they can enjoy alone, with friends or together with the whole family.

Our mission is to help children move more, think faster and play creatively — while giving parents a safe, modern and family-friendly tool for everyday active fun.

A fast and exciting game where a random Pod lights up and the player has to hit it before time runs out. The pace increases with each level, helping kids train reaction speed, focus and movement.

Reaction Challenge
A simple 10-round reaction test. The Pod lights up, the player reacts as fast as possible, and the display shows the result with millisecond precision. Great for personal records and friendly competition.
What it trains Reaction time and concentration. How to play Complete 10 attempts and try to beat your best score. You need 1+ Pod. Best with 3+ Pods.
Force Challenge
Kick or hit the Pod and see the strike power on the display. Great for football shots, hand strikes or simple family challenges.
What it trains Power, accuracy and controlled movement. How to play Hit or kick the Pod and check the score on the display. You need 1 Pod. Dedicated wall recommended.
Interval Timer
A simple active timer for movement rounds, fitness games, family workouts or short exercise breaks. Set work time, rest time and rounds, and let the Pod guide the activity.

Sprint
Use MATS Pod to measure running time. Start on a light or sound signal and stop the timer by touching the finish Pod. A fun way to make running more exciting for kids.

Max Count
A race against time. Pods light up one by one and the player has to tap as many as possible before the timer ends. Great for siblings, friends and family challenges.

Match
Turn two Pods and dedicated walls into a smart football challenge. Shoot at the targets, score points and compete in a 1v1 match. The Pods count the score automatically.

Sequence Challenge
Watch, remember and repeat the sequence as fast as possible. This game combines movement, memory and focus, helping children train both body and mind.
